Hakone Museum of Art

Established in 1952, the Hakone Museum of Art is renowned for its world-class collection of Japanese ceramics spanning from the Jomon period to the Edo era. What truly sets it apart, however, is its breathtaking moss garden, featuring over 130 varieties of moss and 200 maple trees that turn brilliant shades of red and gold in autumn. Visitors can expect a tranquil stroll through the meticulously landscaped grounds followed by matcha in a traditional teahouse.
