Evangelion Store
About
Located inside Hakone-Yumoto Station, this official store is a pilgrimage site for anime fans, as Hakone serves as the real-world setting for 'Tokyo-3' in the Evangelion series. You'll find exclusive, region-specific merchandise here, ranging from themed snacks and sake to clothing and collectibles. Expect a compact but highly atmospheric shop guarded by a life-sized Rei Ayanami figure.
Insider Tip
Look for the Eva-themed vending machine just outside the shop, and pick up some exclusive Hakone-only 'Eva-man' sweet buns.
