Perched above Lake Ashi, this spacious hilltop park offers some of the most unobstructed, sweeping views of Mount Fuji and the lake below. It is a fantastic, uncrowded spot for a relaxed picnic, stroll, or for letting children run around on the grassy slopes. While amenities are minimal, the main draw is the sheer, peaceful scale of the panorama, making it a dream for landscape photographers on a clear day.
Insider Tip
Only visit on a cloudless day; if Mount Fuji is obscured by mist, the entry fee is difficult to justify.
