Narukawa Art Museum

Perched on a hill overlooking Lake Ashi, this museum is dedicated entirely to Nihonga (modern Japanese-style paintings) and boasts one of the most famous panoramic views of Mount Fuji and the lake's iconic red torii gate. Visitors can admire the delicate, mineral-pigment artworks before relaxing in the museum's lounge, which features a massive 30-meter panorama window designed to frame the landscape like a living painting.
