Sengokuhara Susuki Grass Fields

Located at the foot of Mount Hakone, this vast hillside transforms into a stunning, shimmering sea of golden pampas grass (susuki) every autumn. A well-maintained stone path cuts directly through the tall stalks, allowing you to walk deep into the field and capture incredible photos against the mountainous backdrop. While beautiful year-round, it is an absolute must-visit between late September and November when the stalks turn a brilliant, glowing amber.
