This unique wetland, designated as a Special Natural Monument, offers a rare glimpse into Hakone's prehistoric volcanic landscape. Visitors can stroll along a well-maintained wooden boardwalk to observe diverse, seasonally changing marsh plants, including vibrant irises and rare insectivorous species. It is a peaceful, less-crowded alternative to the nearby Pampas Grass Fields, perfect for nature lovers and photographers.
