原爆の子の像

Located in Hiroshima's Peace Memorial Park, this touching monument is dedicated to Sadako Sasaki and the thousands of children lost to the 1945 atomic bomb. Atop the pedestal stands a bronze statue of a girl holding a wire crane, symbolizing hope and peace. It is a profoundly moving stop where you will see vibrant glass cases filled with millions of colorful origami paper cranes sent by children from all over the world.
