Flame of Peace
Located in the heart of Hiroshima's Peace Memorial Park, this poignant monument features a sculpture of two hands pressed together at the wrists, cupping a flame. Designed by Kenzo Tange, the fire has burned continuously since 1964 and will only be extinguished when all nuclear weapons are destroyed. It is a deeply moving stop that offers a powerful visual symbol of hope and global peace.
