Gates of Peace

Standing as a silent, powerful monument in Hiroshima's Peace Memorial Park, these ten glass arches are inscribed with the word 'peace' in 49 different languages. Designed by French artists, the 9-meter-tall structures represent the nine circles of Dante's Inferno, with the tenth arch symbolizing a future free from nuclear devastation. It is a deeply moving, artistic stop that offers a global perspective on reconciliation and hope.
