Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park Rest House

Located just 170 meters from the hypocenter, this restored Art Deco building is one of the few structural survivors of the atomic blast. Inside, the preserved basement offers a chilling, authentic glimpse into the tragedy through the story of its sole survivor, Eizo Nomura. Today, it serves as a multi-functional space featuring a poignant exhibition, a tourist information center, and a piano salvaged from the bombing.
