Ginkaku-ji, the Silver Pavilion, is an elegant 15th-century Zen temple renowned for its understated beauty and sublime landscape design. Unlike its golden sibling, it was never actually covered in silver, allowing the natural wood to harmonize with its stunning dry sand garden and mossy woodland paths.
