Located near Nijo Castle, this specialized museum is dedicated to the ancient, highly labor-intensive Japanese art of tie-dyeing (shibori). Visitors can admire exquisite masterpieces, including stunning kimonos, and watch demonstrations of the incredibly precise techniques used to create them.
