Tenzan no Yu

Tenzan no Yu is a natural thermal hot spring complex located in Kyoto's western Ukyo ward, offering a rare chance to soak in sodium-calcium chloride-rich waters pumped from 1,200 meters underground. Unlike standard public baths, this facility features open-air bath areas surrounded by bamboo, ceramic壺 (tsubo) baths, sauna facilities, and an on-site restaurant serving hearty Japanese comfort food.
