Asuka-no-Yu

Asuka-no-Yu is a spacious public bath and sauna complex in Kashihara, styled to evoke the ancient Asuka period. Unlike standard bathhouses, it features an outdoor rock bath (rotenburo) surrounded by greenery, mineral-rich waters, and a popular bedrock sauna (ganban'yoku) for deep relaxation. It is a fantastic, authentic spot to unwind alongside locals after exploring the nearby historic temples and ruins of Nara.
