Isuien Garden and Neiraku Museum
Tucked away near Todai-ji, Isuien is a stunning dual-style Japanese garden that masterfully utilizes 'shakkei' (borrowed scenery) to incorporate Nara's Mt. Wakakusa into its landscape. Visitors can stroll around two tranquil ponds, admire traditional teahouses, and view a world-class collection of ancient Chinese bronzes and Korean ceramics at the on-site Neiraku Museum. It is a peaceful, less-crowded alternative to Nara Park's main temples.
