Kamokimi-no-yu Hot Spring

Located in Gose near the foot of Mount Kongo, Kamokimi-no-yu is a spacious, modern hot spring complex famous for its therapeutic, mineral-rich hydrogen carbonate waters. It features expansive indoor and outdoor baths, including rock pools, herbal baths, and saunas, all fed by a natural source 1,500 meters underground. It is an ideal, authentic spot to relax and soak alongside locals after hiking Nara's historic Katsuragi area.
