Oike

Oike is a peaceful reservoir in western Nara offering one of the most iconic, postcard-perfect views of Yakushi-ji Temple's twin pagodas rising above the water. Framed by the distant Kasuga Hills, this scenic spot is a photographer's dream, especially during sunset when the temples are beautifully backlit.
