Suimontei reserves its entire 123-square-meter residence for one booking per day in the historic Takabatake priest quarter near Kasuga Taisha. Check-in takes place between 15:00 and 19:00, and guests arriving late must notify staff in advance because unannounced delays of two hours may cancel the reservation. The site sits within short walking distance of the Zutō stone stupa and writer Naoya Shiga's former residence.

How do you reach Suimontei by public transit?
From Kintetsu-Nara Station (platform 2) or JR Nara Station (east exit platform 2), take the Nara Kotsu city loop bus to the Wariishi-chō bus stop. The property stands about a one-minute walk from the stop. Alternatively, taxis take five to eight minutes from both stations.
How many guests can stay overnight at Suimontei?
The property accommodates only a single booking per night, standardly configured for two adults in a 123-square-meter two-story residence with one king bed. Accommodations for a third guest may be arranged upon advance consultation with the innkeepers prior to booking.
