Gokuraku-bashi Bridge

Connecting the outer gardens to the inner bailey of Osaka Castle, Gokuraku-bashi is a beautiful wooden-style bridge offering a classic, photogenic perspective of the castle tower rising above the stone walls and moat. Rebuilt in 1965 to mirror the historic Shogunate-era design, it provides a dramatic approach to the main keep and is a peaceful spot to watch the traditional castle tour boats glide by.
