Located right next to Osaka Castle, this museum offers a captivating journey through the city's 1,400-year history, from its days as an ancient imperial capital to its rise as a bustling merchant hub. Visitors can walk through life-sized reconstructions of ancient palace ruins and vibrant Showa-era streetscapes. The upper floors also boast some of the best, unobstructed panoramic views of the castle grounds.
