Designed by renowned architect Kengo Kuma, ONE@Tokyo is a striking industrial-chic hotel that beautifully fuses raw concrete and warm wood elements. Located in Sumida, it features a spectacular rooftop terrace offering unobstructed, up-close views of the Tokyo Skytree. Expect minimalist, thoughtfully designed rooms and a stylish lobby cafe that serves as a creative hub for modern travelers.
Japanese sources emphasize using Exit B3 when arriving via Oshiage Station with wheeled luggage, as it is fitted with escalators, while the closer Exit A1 has only stairways and is shuttered overnight. The hotel is situated inside a quiet residential neighborhood just east of Tokyo Skytree Town, keeping street noise minimal despite the heavy foot traffic around the station. Guests planning evening visits to the open-air rooftop deck should keep in mind that it closes promptly at 22:00 to comply with local residential quiet hours.
Head up to the rooftop lounge at sunset to watch the Tokyo Skytree light up against the city skyline without the usual tourist crowds.
The hotel does not provide general guest parking, maintaining only one wheelchair-accessible parking space on site. Visitors driving must use coin-operated public parking lots in the surrounding Oshiage neighborhood, where overnight parking fees vary widely by lot.
Under the insomnia hospitality concept, guests have 24-hour access to complimentary drip coffee, tea selections, light snacks, and bread baked throughout the day. Beer, wine, and sake can be purchased separately via an automated server.
Exits A1 and B3 are both roughly three minutes away on foot. Travelers with heavy luggage should choose Exit B3 because it features escalator access from underground, and Exit A1 locks nightly between 22:00 and 6:30.
